The Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana is a statutory regulatory body established by the Chartered Institute of Taxation Act 2016 (Act 916). The object of the Institute is to regulate the practice of taxation and to promote the study of taxation in Ghana. To this end, the Council seeks to secure, in public interest, the highest standard in the practice of taxation.
The Annual Tax Conference is one of the flagship programmes on the calendar of the Institute. It creates the platform for Chartered Tax Practitioners, Government officials, Tax Administrators, Business Executives, Policy Makers, Financial Directors and Chief Executive Officers to share ideas on taxation and other related issues with the aim of crafting and developing solutions to problems and challenges facing businesses and the nation. It also affords the participants to acquire more knowledge and improve on their skills in varied areas. Speakers include seasoned professionals such as Chartered Tax Practitioners, Tax Administrators, policy makers, academics and business executives. You need not be a member of the Institute to participate.
Our Pre-Conference Training Workshop is designed to focus on contemporary issues in International Taxation. This year’s workshop will focus on Transfer Pricing in Post BEPS Era. Prior Knowledge in Transfer Pricing is not a prerequisite to participate. The workshop will evolve from the basics.
